LG Rolly Keyboard (KBB-700), a portable wireless keyboard that also fold into a stick has been introduced by LG Electronics, ahead of IFA 2015. It is the first portable and foldable keyboard from LG.
LG Rolly Keyboard is rollable and it can be folded along the four rows that creates an easy-to-carry stick. The stick keyboard then can easily fit in our pockets. The keyboard has a fold-out stand that support smartphones and tablets (up to 10-inches) and also comes with high-contrast keys.
The newly announced keyboard runs on a single AAA battery and it promises up to three months of battery life with moderate usage. According to LG, it has 17 mm key pitch which makes typing extremely comfortable and is made of impact-resistant, durable polycarbonate and ABS plastic, that offers tactile feedback which are not found in foldable silicone keyboards. The device connects to Android devices via Bluetooth 3.0 technology and comes with auto-pairing function, which connects it to two different device simultaneously and the user can toggle between them by simply pressing a key.
The LG Rolly Keyboard (KBB-700) will go on sale in US around September and later in key markets such as Latin America, Europe and Asia by Q4 2015. The company will announce the pricing of the keyboard during the local launch events. LG will showcase the Rolly Keyboard in Berlin at IFA 2015.
