LG Magna announced with Android 5.0 Lollipop ahead of MWC 2015

LG has announced four new mid-range smartphone running Android 5.0 Lollipop ahead of Mobile World Congress (MWC), 2015. We had a look at LG JoyLG Leon, LG Spirit and now we are going to look at the specifications of LG Magna.


LG Magna Specifications

The LG Magna features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display which is powered by 1.2 GHz or 1.3 GHz quad-core processor depending on the market. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.

LG Magna comes with a 8 or 5 megapixel auto-focus rear primary camera with LED flash. On the front, it has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone is 10.2 mm thick.


The LG Magna includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,540 mAh removable battery under the hood. LG Magna would go on sale starting this week in few select markets. The device would be showcased at MWC 2015 in Barcelona and the pricing will be revealed.

LG recently launched the LG Watch Urbane Android Wear smartwatch which would also be showcased at MWC. LG shipped 15.6 million phones in the fourth quarter of 2014.
