LG has launched couple of new smartphones in India that support VoLTE (Voice over LTE) and VoWiFi (Voice over WiFi) out of the box. According to LG, the VoLTE and VoWiFi feature will enable faster transmission of data and voice. Lets check out the specifications of budget offering, the LG K10 LTE here. It was announced in January and went on sale in Europe in February.
LG K10 LTE Specifications
The LG K10 LTE features a 5.3-inch (1280 x 720) HD In-cell touch IPS 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor along with Adreno 306 GPU. It comes with 2 GB RAM along with 16 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box.
The K10 rocks a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, which can record Full HD 1080p videos. On the front, it has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It is 8.8 mm thick and weighs 140 grams.
The LG K10 packs in 4G LTE with VoLTE support, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone has a 2,300 mAh battery underneath the hood.
The LG K10 LTE is available in Indigo, Gold and White color variants and has been priced at Rs 13,500 in India. It comes with a free smart quick cover out of the box. LG India has also launched the LG K7 LTE in the country for Rs 9,500.
Also, these are the first LG smartphones to be manufactured at its new Noida plant in India. They were launched by telecom and IT minister Ravi Shankar Prasad at an event in Delhi today. LG aims to make 1 million smartphones in its new plant in 2016.
