LG Ice Cream Smart Android flip phone unveiled in Korea

LG recently announced the LG G Flex 2 at CES 2015 in Las Vegas which will go on sale in Korea on January 30. The company has now unveiled a new Android flip phone named LG Ice Cream Smart (LG-F440L) in Korea. Let us look at the specifications of the device.


LG Ice Cream Smart Specifications

The LG Ice Cream Smart features a 3.5-inch (480 x 320 pixels) touch screen display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory which is expandable via microSD card. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and hopefully will be updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop in the near future.

On the camera front, the LG Ice Cream Smart is equipped with a 8 megapixel rear camera and a 0.3 megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera for your selfies and video calling. The smartphone weighs 138 grams and is 16.9 mm thick. It has 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio as well.


The LG Ice Cream Smart flip phone comes with 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and DMB. It packs in a 1,700 mAh battery under the hood.

The LG Ice Cream Smart will be available in Mint and Pink colour variants and will go on sale in South Korea from January 30, exclusively from local operator LG U+. There is no information about the pricing or global availability.
