LG Gentle flip phone launched in Korea for USD 172

LG Gentle flip smartphone has been launched in Korea. It is the latest flip phone from LG in the country. Lets take a look at the specifications.


LG Gentle flip phone Specifications

The LG Gentle features a 3.2-inch (480 x 320 pixels) touch screen display and is powered by a 1.1 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor along with Adreno 304 GPU. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 4 GB of internal memory which is expandable via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box. It has a T9 keypad along with a dedicated Q button, which will allow the users to instantly activate the most frequently used apps.

On the camera front, the Gentle rocks a 3 megapixel rear camera and a 0.3 megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera for your selfies and video calling. The smartphone weighs 143 grams and is 16.6 mm thick. It has 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio as well. It has a soft leather-like finish throughout the body.

The Gentle comes with 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. It packs in a 1,700 mAh battery under the hood.

The LG Gentle flip phone is available in Navy and Burgundy colour variants and has been priced at 200,000 South Korean Won (US $172 / INR Rs 10,950 approximately). It will go on sale starting from July 29 via local operator LG U+. There is no information on global availability yet.

LG launched Ice Cream Smart flip phone in January this year. A high-end flip phone from Samsung was also leaked recently, might be launched soon.
