LG G5 will offer powerful Hi-Fi audio, powered by Bang & Olufsen’s B&O PLAY

LG has partnered with premium audio company B&O PLAY, a subsidiary of Bang & Olufsen today and has announced that their upcoming flagship, the LG G5 will come with enhanced high-quality powerful Hi-Fi audio experience. The company said, “LG will be the first company to offer the powerful Hi-Fi audio features co-designed by B&O PLAY”.

LG has also committed to continue their collaboration with B&O PLAY for future devices to offer a better audio experience.

LG has already confirmed that the G5 will come with a ‘Always ON‘ display, a secondary ticker display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset. Lets check out the rumoured specifications of the device.


LG G5 Rumoured Specifications

The LG G5 is expected to feature a 5.3-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD display along with a secondary ticker display. It will be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 64-bit processor along with Adreno 530 GPU. It will have 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, that can be expanded via microSD card. The flagship smartphone will run on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the latest LG UX on top of it.

Coming to the cameras, it will sport dual 16 megapixel rear cameras with dual-tone LED flash, 135-degree wide-angle lens, Laser Auto Focus and support for 4K video recording. It will come with a 8 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It will also incorporate a fingerprint sensor, likely situated at the back side.

The LG G5 will include 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1 LE with aptX and GPS as connectivity options. It will pack in a 2,800 mAh removable battery under the hood.

The LG G5 will be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona on February 21 at 14:00 CET (6:30 PM IST).
