LG G4 Pro might come with Snapdragon 820 SoC and 27 megapixel camera on board

LG G4, the latest flagship from the company was launched at the end of April 2015. Since last week, if rumours are to be believed a variant of G4 with a metal body is coming soon. Now we are seeing some rumoured specifications of LG G4 Pro surfacing on a Chinese Weibo account.


LG G4 Pro Rumoured Specifications

The LG G4 Pro will feature a 5.8-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quantum HD display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The G4 Pro will be powered by the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset. It will have 4 GB of RAM and comes with 32/64 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with LG UX 4.0 custom skin on top of it. The updated OS from LG comes with a lot of new features retaining some proprietary software like Knock On, KnockCode and health app.

The G4 Pro will come with a 27 megapixel rear primary camera with dual-tone dual LED flash, laser auto-focus and optical image stabilization. On the front, it will have a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with ultra-thin IR filter for great selfies and video calling, just like the G4.

The G4 Pro might include 4G LTE (Cat6), 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual band), WiFi Direct, DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0, A2DP, LE, apt-X, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, IR blaster, FM Radio with RDS as connectivity options, just like the G4. We do not have any information on the battery capacity yet however an all-metal body is confirmed.

These specifications are rumoured and must be taken with a pinch of salt. LG G4 is now available in India.
