LG G4 Beat has been officially unveiled. It is the latest variant in the G4 lineup and also the successor to the G3 Beat. Lets quickly check out the specifications.
LG G4 Beat Specifications
The LG G4 Beat features a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS in-cell touch display. It is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (1.5 GHz + 1.0 GHz) 64-bit processor with Adreno 405 GPU. It has 1.5 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory which is expandable via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box.
It is equipped with a 13 megapixel or 8 megapixel rear camera (depending on region) with LED flash and Laser Auto Focus. On the front, a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The camera comes with features like Color Spectrum Sensor which measures the exact RGB and infrared values of ambient light and objects. We also have Manual Mode to adjust shutter speed, ISO, exposure and white balance easily. The smartphone weighs 139 grams and is 9.85 mm thick.
On the connectivity front, the G4 Beat has 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, GLONASS and NFC. It packs in a 2,300 mAh removable battery under the hood.
The LG G4 Beat will be available in Metallic Silver, Ceramic White and Shiny Gold colour variants. The smartphone will start selling this month in Europe and Latin America, France, Germany and Brazil. It will be followed by Canada, Russia, India, Singapore, South Africa and Turkey. According to the company, it will be known as LG G4s in Europe and CIS region. LG has not announced the pricing and it will be unveiled during local launches.
