LG G Pad III 8.0 jas been officially launched in Korea, after it was announced in USA and Canada. The company had previously launched the LG G Pad II 8.3 LTE back in December last year. Lets check out the specifications and features of the latest tablet from LG now.
LG G Pad III 8.0 Specifications
The LG G Pad III 8.0 features a 8.0-inch (1920 x 1200 pixels) WUXGA 16:10 display. The tablet is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core processor. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 16 / 32 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 64 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out of the box. It has the Reader Mode feature, which will not strain the eyes when reading for a long time and also comes pre-loaded with Microsoft Office apps like Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
The G Pad III houses a 8 megapixel auto-focus rear camera along with a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for your selfies and video calling. It has a 7.9 mm thick body and weighs 309 grams. It also comes with standard USB Type-A port, which will let the users use standard USB flash drives.
The G Pad III includes 4G LTE (optional), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.1, USB Type-C and GPS as connectivity options. The tablet packs in a 4,800 mAh battery under the hood.
The LG G Pad III 8.0 is available in White and Indigo Black color variants for US $240 (INR Rs 16,202 approximately) in USA and 330,000 Won in Korea. The 4G LTE variant is available in USA and Canada only whereas Korea gets the WiFi-only model.
