LG has scheduled an event on October 1 in New York to announce a new device. The company has sent out media invites and we are expecting them to announce the premium flagship device dubbed as “LG V10” or that is simply a bigger variant of the LG G4.
The device we are talking about has already made its way to TENAA and comes with a dual display. It is said to have a small auxiliary screen above the main display that is similar to Samsung’s Continuum from 2010. Lets check out the previous rumoured specifications.
LG G4 Note / Pro rumoured Specifications
The LG G4 Pro will feature a 5.8-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD display. The phablet will reportedly be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset, instead of the Snapdragon 820 that was talked about earlier. It will have 4 GB of RAM and comes with 32/64 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with LG UX 4.0 custom skin on top of it. The updated OS from LG comes with a lot of new features retaining some proprietary software like Knock On, KnockCode and health app.
The G4 Pro is now expected to come with a dual camera setup with an always-on focusing system, instead of the 27 megapixel rear primary camera with dual-tone dual LED flash, laser auto-focus and optical image stabilization, that was rumoured earlier. On the front, it will have a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with ultra-thin IR filter for great selfies and video calling, just like the G4.
The G4 Pro might include TD-LTE, LTE FDD, TD-SCMA, WCDMA, GSM standards, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual band), WiFi Direct, DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0, A2DP, LE, apt-X, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, IR blaster, FM Radio with RDS as connectivity options, just like the G4. We do not have any information on the battery capacity yet however an all-metal body is confirmed. These specifications are rumoured and must be taken with a pinch of salt.
