LG Band Play smartphone launched in Korea for USD 356

LG Band Play smartphone has been launched in Korea. It is the company’s latest smartphone in the country. Lets look at the specifications.


LG Band Play Specifications

The LG Band Play features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display which is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 306 GPU. It has 2 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box.

The Band Play comes with a 13 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash and Laser Auto Focus. On the front, it has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone is 8.3 mm thick and weighs 126 grams. It has a powerful loudspeaker with 1W (watt) output which promises clear sound. It has “focus mode” for teenagers which will help them ease their tension and improve concentration by playing relaxing therapy music. It also comes with Quad Beat 3 headset.

The Band Play includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,300 mAh removable battery under the hood.

The LG Band Play is available in Black and White colour variants and will be sold via Korean operator SK Telecom for 394,800 Korean Won (US $356 / INR Rs 22,650 approximately) from tomorrow (June 25). There is no information on the global roll out yet.
