Lenovo Z1 powered by ZUK will be the world’s first ever crowd sourced phone launch in India. The event will take place at 12PM on May 10. It is the same ZUK Z1 phablet that was unveiled back in August last year. Lets check out the specifications.
Lenovo Z1 Specifications
The Lenovo Z1 features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display, has a 1500:1 contrast ratio. It is powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 64-bit processor along with Adreno 330 GPU. It has 3 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and comes with 64 internal storage (eMMC 5.0) but does not have any expandable storage option. The device runs on Cyanogen OS 12.1 based on Android 5.0 Lollipop and will be upgradable to Cyanogen OS 13 OS based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It has an aircraft-grade aluminium metal frame around the body.
The Z1 comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Sony IMX214 Exmor RS sensor, OIS, f/2.2 aperture. On the front, there is a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with OmniVision OV8865 sensor for selfies and video calling. The phablet is 8.9 mm thick and weighs 175 grams. It supports Dual SIM (nano) and comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack. The home button comes with built-in fingerprint sensor (FPC 1155). It is called U-Touch which acts as a Home Button when pressed hard, Back button on touch and double-click for multitasking.
The Z1 includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (Dual Band), WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/GLONASS and USB 3.0 Type-C as connectivity options. The phablet packs in a whopping 4,100 mAh battery under the hood, which supports fast charging and it takes only 2.5 hours to charge from 0-100.
