Lenovo Vibe Xtension Selfie Flash announced at CES 2015

Lenovo at CES 2015 unveiled a lot of devices – P90, Vibe X2 Pro, Vibe Band VB10 and also a budget 4G LTE smartphone for India. The company also announced an accessory which will take the insane selfie culture to the next level. We are talking about the Lenovo Vibe Xtension Selfie Flash which will help us capture selfies in low light.

The Lenovo Vibe Xtension Selfie Flash is meant for people who are constantly taking selfies on their smartphone’s front-facing camera but are troubled by low light. The device packs in eight diffused LEDs in a round metal casing. It has only one button at the back which will let the users take selfies. It can be used by simply plugging it into a 3.5 mm audio jack of any Android device.

The Lenovo Vibe Xtension Selfie Flash emits steady light instead of flashing when the button is pressed. It will result in the shots having natural colour tones. The Selfie Flash comes with a 80 mAh rechargeable battery which promises to capture around 100 selfies in a single charge. It can also be used for the rear camera by simply turning it to take pictures in low lighting. We believe it will do a better job than most flash lights which come with the rear camera.

The Lenovo Vibe Xtension Selfie Flash will work with any Android device as long it has a 3.5 mm audio jack. It will be priced at USD 29 in USA and we do not know about the exact date of availability or pricing in the global market.
