Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro limited edition announced at CES 2015

After announcing the Lenovo P90, the company has now unveiled the Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro limited edition at CES 2015 in Las Vegas. The smartphone is based on the layered design of the Vibe X2 which went on sale in India exclusively on Flipkart for Rs 19,999.


The Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro features a 5.3-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) LED display. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz 64-bit Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor. The device has 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. It runs on the Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box with Vibe UI 2.0 on top of it. We expect it to get Android 5.0 Lollipop update soon.

On the camera specifications, the Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro has a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It also has a 13 megapixel wide-angle front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It is a dual SIM smartphone.

The Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro includes 4G LTE/3G, WiFi 802.11 ac/b/g/n, WiFi hotspot, Bluetooth as connectivity options. It has a 2,410 mAh battery under the hood.

The Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro will be available in Rock Pink, Electric Blue and Champagne Gold colour variants and will go on sale in April, 2015. There is no word on the pricing yet from Lenovo.

Lenovo is also expected to launch budget 4G LTE enabled smartphone at CES 2015 made for India at January 8. It will be a Flipkart exclusive.
