Lenovo Vibe S1 might come with dual front cameras and fingerprint scanner

Lenovo Vibe S1 is back in news again. The upcoming smartphone was spotted on TENAA in China back in June. Now, serial leakster @upleaks has spotted the device and said it will be the first smartphone to come with dual selfie cameras.

It is understandable that the world is going crazy over selfies and smartphone makers are churning out devices which specially emphasize on the selfie camera. Lenovo might change the whole dynamics and intend to take it to the next level. The Lenovo Vibe S1 is rumoured to feature two 5 megapixel front-facing selfie cameras on the front. We guess it would help in better focusing or give better depth of field in our selfies but we are not sure entirely. The recently leaked image by @upleaks shows a fingerprint sensor at the back, which is different from the one seen on TENAA. Anyway, lets check out the rumoured specifications.

Lenovo Vibe S1 rumoured Specifications

The Lenovo Vibe S1 will feature a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display, powered by a 1.7 GHz octa-core processor. It will come with 2 GB of RAM along with 16 GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD slot. The device will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out of the box.

On the camera front, it will rock a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. On the front,  a dual 5 megapixel front-facing camera setup is expected for next-gen selfies and video calling. It will be 7.85 mm thick and weigh 130 grams.

On the connectivity front, it will come with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The smartphone will reportedly pack a 2,420 mAh battery under the hood.

The Lenovo Vibe S1 will be available in Black, Violet, White, Pink and Blue colour variants. Since it is being leaked heavily now, we can expect it to be unveiled at IFA 2015 this September.
