Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite with Full HD display officially announced for USD 199

Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite smartphone has been officially announced ahead of CES 2016. It is the latest selfie-focussed smartphone from the company. Lenovo had earlier launched the Vibe S1 back in September which was recently launched in India as well. Lets check out the specifications of the device.


Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite Specifications

The Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite features a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display, that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 64-bit processor along with Mali-T720 GPU. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory which is expandable via microSD. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box with Vibe UI on top. It comes with a metallic frame with a curved back.

The Vibe S1 Lite comes with a 13 megapixel rear primary camera with dual-tone LED flash, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) and BSI sensor. On the front, there is a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with Sony sensor, 5P lenses and LED flash for selfies and video calling. It is 8.55 mm thick and weighs 129 grams. It supports Hybrid Dual SIM (nano) where the second SIM slot can be used as a microSD card slot, comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio.


The Vibe S1 Lite includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,700 mAh non-removable battery under the hood.

The Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite is available in Matte White and Matte Blue color variants and has been priced at US $199 (INR Rs 13,250 approximately). It will start rolling out globally starting from early 2016.
