Lenovo Vibe S1 with dual front-facing cameras launched in India for Rs 15999

Lenovo Vibe S1 with dual front-facing cameras has been officially launched in India, as expected. It is specially made for selfie lovers. The device was officially announced at IFA 2015 in Berlin back in September. Lets check out the specifications of the smartphone.


Lenovo Vibe S1 Specifications

The Lenovo Vibe S1 features a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display, that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 64-bit processor along with 700 MHz Mali T760-MP2 GPU. It has 3 GB of RAM and comes with 32 GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 128 GB via microSD. The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out of the box with Vibe UI on top.

The Vibe S1 comes with a 13 megapixel rear primary camera with dual-tone LED flash, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) and BSI sensor. On the front, there is a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with a BSI sensor to capture selfies and a 2 megapixel secondary camera to analyze the depth of field. It also will include background blur, background swap and improved low-light performance, according to Lenovo. It is 7.8 mm thick and weighs 132 grams. It has a Hybrid Dual SIM system which will allow the user to put in a microSD card in the second SIM card slot.

The Vibe S1 includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a non-removeable 2,500 mAh battery under the hood with a minimum capacity of 2420 mAh.

The Lenovo Vibe S1 is available in Midnight Blue and Pearl White color variants and has been priced at Rs 15,999 in India. It will be exclusively sold via Amazon India starting from Midnight of November 24.
