Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus goes on sale in India for Rs 8499 on Flipkart

Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus was officially launched launched in India on March 15. The smartphone was announced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona last month, which is basically the international variant of the Lenovo Lemon 3 that was introduced in China back in January. Today, it went on sale in India exclusively on Flipkart for Rs 8,499. The e-commerce site is also offering up to Rs 6,000 discount in exchange for smartphones and hence you can get the K5 Plus for as low as Rs 2,499 with exchange.

The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus features a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display that has a brightness of 450 nits. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 (Quad 1.5 GHz + Quad 1.2 GHz) 64-bit processor along with Adreno 405 GPU. It packs in 2 GB of LPDDR3 RAM along with 16 GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box with Lenovo’s Vibe UI on top of it. It comes with stereo speakers present at the back that supports Waves MaxxAudio technology and also has Dolby audio on board for an enhanced experience.

The Vibe K5 Plus rocks a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash that can capture Full HD 1080p videos. It comes with a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It supports dual SIM (micro), comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio. It has a metal body that is 8.2 mm thick and weighs 142 grams.

On the connectivity front, the Vibe K5 Plus comes with 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, USB OTG and GPS. The smartphone packs in a 2,750 mAh removable battery under the hood. The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus is available in Champagne Gold, Graphite Grey and Platinum Silver color variants.

However, it looks like Lenovo India has sold out the first batch and the second batch would be available on March 30 at 12 PM.
