Lenovo India is gearing up to launch the Lenovo Vibe K5 Note in India on July 20. It was launched in China as “Lenovo K5 Note” back in January, however the International variant comes with 3GB RAM and is also expected to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box. Earlier this week, Lenovo India announced that it has sold more than 750,000 units of the Vibe K4 Note in the country so far and to celebrate the occasion, Lenovo Vibe K4 Note Wooden Edition was launched in India for Rs 11,499.
Lenovo Vibe K5 Note Specifications
The Lenovo Vibe K5 Note features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display, that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.8 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 64-bit processor along with 550 MHz Mali T860 GPU. It comes with 3 GB of RAM along with 16 GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Vibe UI on top of it.
The Lenovo Vibe K5 Note rocks a 13 megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF). On the front, it has a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with 77.4-degree wide-angle lens for selfies and video calling. It has a fingerprint sensor below the rear camera on the back. It comes with a dedicated audio chip along with powerful 1.5W speakers and supports Dual SIM (nano). As usual like other Lenovo smartphones, they have Dolby Atmos Certified Audio as well. It sports a metal body with aluminium unibody design that is 8.49 mm thick.
The Vibe K5 Note packs in 4G LTE with VoLTE support, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS, as connectivity options. The phablet has a 3,500 mAh battery underneath the hood.
The Lenovo Vibe K5 Note will be available in Silver and Golden color variants. It was priced at CNY 1099 (INR Rs 11,022 approximately) in China, hence we are expecting it to be priced around Rs 12,000 – 13,000 in India.
