Lenovo unveils Vibe Band VB10 at CES 2015 to step into wearables market

Lenovo after announcing two smartphones – P90 and Vibe X2 Pro, gets into the wearable market with the launch of Lenovo Vibe Band VB10 at CES 2015 in Las Vegas. Lets have a look at what the Chinese manufacturer has to offer the consumers in the wearables section.


The Lenovo Vibe Band VB10 has been designed in a way to become the extension of your smartphone which would like to keep you more connected. This band which looks quite unique sports an E Ink display. Even with display and Bluetooth always turned on, it will provide up to seven days of battery life.

The Lenovo Vibe Band VB10 is basically a fitness band which monitors the users fitness with various parameters to keep them fit. The device is waterproof which is a necessity and as it has an E Ink display, it will not have any glare and will be visible even in sunlight.


When connected to a smartphone, the Lenovo Vibe Band VB10 fitness band will show you instant notifications for calls, SMS, Facebook, Twitter and many other apps and services. The E Ink display offers space for up to 150 characters.

This band has few smart features which are noteworthy. First of all, it has a proximity reminder, that will help you not to lose your smartphone. It will warn you incase you’re leaving your phone away when you have put on the band. Also, it has a phone finder feature that activates an alarm with just a push of a button.

The Lenovo Vibe Band VB10 has been priced at USD 89 and works with both Android and iOS devices. We do not have any word on the availability of the band yet but hopefully it goes on sale soon around the world.
