After announcing the Lenovo P90, Vibe X2 Pro and Vibe Band VB10 at CES 2015, Lenovo is launching two new tablets. These are the Lenovo Tab 2 A7-30 and Tab 2 A7-10 from the A series. Lets go through their specifications quickly.
Both Lenovo Tab 2 A7-30 and Tab 2 A7-10 features a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) IPS infinity display which is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8382M processor. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 8/16 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box and will get updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop soon.
The Lenovo Tab 2 A7-30 and Tab 2 A7-10 comes with a 0.3 megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera which is very basic and only the Lenovo Tab 2 A7-30 comes with a 2 megapixel rear camera.
Both the Lenovo Tab 2 A7-30 and Tab 2 A7-10 comes with 3,450 mAh battery under the hood and packs in WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The Tab 2 A7-10 has 3G with voice calling facility as well. They also have a 3.5 mm audio jack, front-facing speaker and Dolby Audio output. While the both of them weighs 269 grams, the A7-10 is slightly thicker at 9.3 mm than the A7-30 which is 8.9 mm thick.
The Lenovo Tab 2 A7-30 and Tab 2 A7-10 budget tablets will start selling at the beginning of March and January, respectively priced at USD 129 and USD 99.
The company would also be launching a budget 4G LTE smartphone for India at CES 2015 shortly.
