Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70 with 4G LTE unveiled at MWC 2015

After announcing the Lenovo Tab 2 A8, it is time for Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70, the successor of last year’s tablet launched at MWC. Lenovo was expected to launch five new smartphones but we have not seen them yet. Lets have a look at the specifications of the tablet.


Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70 Specifications

The Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70 features a 10-inch (1920 x 1200 pixels) capacitive touchscreen display which is powered by 1.5 GHz quad-core 64-bit MediaTek MT8165/MT8732 processor. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box and is expected to be upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop in the near future.

The Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70 comes with a 8 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The tablet is 8.9 mm thick and weighs 570 grams. It has a 3.5 mm audio jack, Multi-Speaker Sound Bar and Dolby ATMOS 3D Surround Sound. It supports only one single standard SIM.


The Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70 comes with 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The tablet rocks a 7,200 mAh battery under the hood.

The Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70 will be available in Midnight Blue and Pearl White colour variants and price starts at US $199 (INR Rs 12,200 approximately) for the WiFi version and US $279 (INR Rs 17,200 approximately) for the LTE version. The device will go on sale by April, 2015.
