At CES 2015, we have so far seen LG G Flex 2, ASUS Zenfone 2 and Zenfone Zoom. Now its Lenovo’s turn. The company has announced the Lenovo P90 at CES 2015 in Las Vegas. Let us have a look at the specifications of the new device from Lenovo, who has recently acquired Motorola.
The Lenovo P90 phablet features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display which has 440 pixels per inch. It is powered by a 1.83 GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3560 processor.
The device has 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage and we do not know if it can be expanded via microSD card or not. It runs on the Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box with Vibe UI 2.0 on top of it. We expect it to get Android 5.0 Lollipop update soon.
On the camera specifications, the Lenovo P90 has a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). It also has a 5 megapixel wide-angle front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.
The Lenovo P90 phablet includes 4G LTE (FDD-LTE & TDD-LTE), 3G, WiFi 802.11 ac/b/g/n, WiFi hotspot, Bluetooth 3.0 HS and Bluetooth 4.1 LE as connectivity options. It has a 4,000 mAh battery under the hood which should provide enough juice to last more than a day.
The Lenovo P90 will be available in Lava Red, Pearl White and Onyx Black colour variants around early February, 2015. There is no word on the pricing yet from Lenovo.
Lenovo is also expected to launch budget 4G LTE enabled smartphone at CES 2015 made for India at January 8. It will be a Flipkart exclusive.
