Lenovo Lemon 3 has been officially launched in China. It is the latest mid-range smartphone from the company in the Lemon series. Lets check out the specifications of the device.
Lenovo Lemon 3 Specifications
The Lenovo Lemon 3 features a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display that has a brightness of 450 nits. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 (Quad 1.5 GHz + Quad 1.2 GHz) 64-bit processor along with Adreno 405 GPU. It packs in 2 GB of LPDDR3 RAM along with 16 GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box. It comes with stereo speakers present at the back that supports Waves MaxxAudio technology and also has Dolby audio on board for an enhanced experience.
The Lemon 3 rocks a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash that can capture Full HD 1080p videos. It comes with a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It supports dual SIM (micro). It comes with a metal body that is 7.99 mm thick and weighs 142 grams.
On the connectivity front, the Lemon 3 comes with 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. The smartphone packs in a 2,750 mAh battery under the hood.
The Lenovo Lemon 3 is available in Gold and Silver color variants and has been priced at CNY 699 (US $106 / INR Rs 7,108 approximately). It can now be ordered in China via the official Lenovo Store and the company will start shipping the units from next week.
Couple of days back, Xiaomi launched the Redmi 3 and it has almost similar specifications along with identical pricing when compared to the Lemon 3 by Lenovo. Lenovo wins on the display front with a Full HD panel and Xiaomi wins it in the battery and overall build department.
