Lenovo K80 with 4GB RAM, Android Lollipop announced

Lenovo K80 has been launched in China. It is the latest phablet in K series by Lenovo for the Chinese market. Lets have a look at the specifications.


Lenovo K80 Specifications

The Lenovo K80 features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display which is powered by 1.8 GHz quad-core Intel Atom 64-bit processor. It has 2/4 GB of RAM and comes with 32/64 GB of internal memory which cannot be expanded via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.


The Lenovo K80 comes with a 13 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and f/2.2 aperture. On the front, it has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The phablet is 8.47 mm thick and weighs 158 grams.

The Lenovo K80 includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and NFC as connectivity options. The phablet packs in a whopping 4,000 mAh battery under the hood which promises up to 33 hours talk time.

The Lenovo K80 is available in Red, Black and White colour variants and has been priced at 1499 Yuan (US $242 / INR Rs 15,350 approximately) for the 2GB RAM and 32GB storage variant, and the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option will set you back by 1799 Yuan (US $290 / INR Rs 18,450 approximately). The 2GB variant is going on sale from April 30 via T-mall in China and the 4GB RAM model will be available shortly. There is no information on the global roll out yet.
