Lenovo K6 with FHD display, Snapdragon 430 goes official at IFA 2016

Lenovo has officially launched three new smartphones – K6, K6 Power and K6 Note in their ‘K series’ at the IFA 2016 in Berlin. Lets go through the features, specifications and pricing of the Lenovo K6 here.

Lenovo K6 Specifications

The Lenovo K6 features a 5.0-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display, that comes with a pixel density of 441 PPI. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 (Quad 1.2 GHz A53 + Quad 1.5 GHz A53) 64-bit processor along with Adreno 505 GPU. It comes with 2 GB of RAM along with 16 / 32 GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with Vibe UI on top.

The Lenovo K6 rocks a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, that can shoot Full HD 1080p videos. On the front, it has a 8 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It has a fingerprint sensor below the rear camera on the back, supports Dual SIM (micro) (depending on region) and comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack. It has a unibody metal design and features Dolby Atmos like most other Lenovo smartphones for an enhanced audio experience.

The K6 packs in 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 3,000 mAh Li-lon battery (non-removable) under the hood.

The Lenovo K6 will be available in Gold, Silver and Dark Grey color variants. It is expected to go on sale starting this September itself. As we have mentioned above, the company has also launched the Lenovo K6 Power and Lenovo K6 Note. These new smartphones in the ‘K series’ are expected to be priced between €150 (US $167 / INR Rs 11,139 approximately) and €230 (US $257 / INR Rs 17,080 approximately) in Europe.

Lenovo has also launched the budget, Lenovo A Plus and the successor of Vibe P1, the Lenovo P2 at IFA in Berlin.
