Lenovo India to launch Vibe Shot on September 22

Lenovo Vibe Shot, a camera centric smartphone that actually looks like a camera was announced at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona this year. Lenovo India is finally launching it in India on September 22. It comes with a smartphone body featuring many pro camera techniques to create a unique combo.


The Lenovo Vibe Shot will be launching in India digitally on September 22 at 12:00 pm. The company will live stream the event as well. It comes in Titanium Grey, White and Rose Red color variants and is expected to be priced around Rs 20,000 in the country.


Lenovo Vibe Shot Specifications

The Lenovo Vibe Shot features a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It has a pixel density of 441 ppi. It is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) processor with Adreno 405 GPU. It has 3 GB of RAM and comes with 32 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Vibe 2.5 UI on top of it.

The Lenovo Vibe Shot comes with a 16 megapixel rear camera with triple-tone flash which would produce consistent lighting in all kind of situations.It also has a six-piece lens, Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and a Backside Illuminated sensor. The rear camera also comes with a laser auto-focus which doubles the focusing speed when compared to normal auto focus. The Vibe Shot comes with a dedicated camera shutter button and a switch next to it which, when toggled, flicks between smart shooting and pro shooting modes. The Pro shooting modes include manual exposure, ISO, white balance, etc. On the front, it has a 8 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone is 7.6 mm thick and weighs 145 grams. It supports dual SIM and both fits nano SIM.


The Lenovo Vibe Shot comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 3,000 mAh Lithium-ion polymer non-removable battery under the hood.
