Lenovo A6000 open sale on Flipkart from March 23 to March 25

The Lenovo A6000 launched on January 16 has gone on numerous flash sales and has sold 180,000 units so far. Lenovo A6000 open sale exclusively on Flipkart for the first time from March 23 and will be available till March 25.


The Lenovo A6000 open sale is taking place at a very important time. The Redmi 2 which was announced in India will go on its pilot flash sale on March 24 on Flipkart. Both the devices are priced at Rs 6,999 and are very similar in the hardware department. We also did a comparison of Redmi 2 Vs Lenovo A6000, and the Redmi 2 just edged it. So, consumers can buy any of these just on the basis of availability itself.

Also, the successor of Lenovo A6000 i.e., the Lenovo A7000 was announced recently at MWC 2015 in Barcelona. It is expected to go on sale in India by end of March or early April exclusively on Flipkart. It will most probably be priced around Rs 8,000-9,000. Lenovo A6000 Specifications

The Lenovo A6000 features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display which is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor along with Adreno 306 GPU. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded via microSD card. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with the company’s Vibe 2.0 UI on top of it. Hopefully it will get an Android 5.0 Lollipop update as well.

The Lenovo A6000 comes with a 8-megapixel auto-focus rear primary camera with LED flash. On the front, it has a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone is 8.2 mm thick and weighs 128 grams. It has dual SIM and both fits in microSIM.

The Lenovo A6000 includes 4G LTE (TD-LTE 2300 MHz & FDD-LTE 1800 MHz), 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,300 mAh battery under the hood.
