Lenovo had unveiled the Lenovo A6000 as promised at CES 2015. The smartphone was launched as the budget 4G LTE device specially for India. It will be launching exclusively on Flipkart in India priced around Rs 8,000.
Today, we have received a press invitation from Lenovo which clearly mentions that the A6000 will be launching on January 16 at an event in New Delhi. We won’t be able to attend the launch as we are based in Kolkata. The company has already mentioned that the smartphone will be priced below YU Yureka and Redmi Note 4G. Pricing it below these devices will give Lenovo A6000, the tag of being the most affordable 4G LTE enabled smartphone in India.
We will not be surprised if Lenovo and Flipkart also offer some freebies and discounts on launch day along with special data offers from Airtel, which is the only telecom company to have 4G LTE presence in selected cities. Even the Redmi Note 4G is being sold at Airtel Stores with double 4G LTE data packs.
