Lenovo A Plus, an entry-level low-end smartphone has been officially announced at the IFA 2016 in Berlin. Lets find out the features, specifications and pricing of the smartphone below.
Lenovo A Plus Specifications
The Lenovo A Plus features a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA IPS display, that comes with a pixel density of 218 PPI and has a screen-to-body ratio of 63.6%. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6580 processor along with Mali-400 MP2 GPU. It comes with 1 GB of RAM along with 8 GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Vibe UI on top.
The Lenovo A Plus rocks a 5 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. On the front, it has a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It supports Dual SIM (micro), comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio. It is 9.9 mm thick and weighs 146 grams.
The A Plus packs in 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,000 mAh Li-Po battery (removable) under the hood.
The Lenovo A Plus has been priced at €69 (US $77 / INR Rs 5,124 approximately) and has started rolling out globally starting from Europe. If launched in India, it will be priced below Rs 5,000. The company has also launched three new smartphones – Lenovo K6, Lenovo K6 Power and Lenovo K6 Note in their ‘K series’. These are expected to go on sale this September itself. Also, Lenovo P2 (Vibe) with a massive 5,110 mAh battery has been launched at the IFA 2016 in Berlin.
