LeEco Le 2Pro with Helio X25 goes official in China

LeEco has announced three new smartphones – Le 2, Le 2Pro and Le Max2 at an event in China. Lets check out the specifications, features and pricing of the Le 2Pro here.


LeEco Le 2Pro Specifications

The LeEco Le 2Pro sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD in-cell IPS display that comes with 500 nits of brightness and 80% NTSC color gamut. It is powered by a deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 / Helio X25 64-bit processor along with Mali-T880 MP4 GPU. It comes with 4 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 32 GB of internal memory (eMMC 5.1) which is not expandable via microSD card slot. It runs on EUI 5.8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

On the camera front, the Le 2Pro rocks a 21 megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Sony IMX230 sensor, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), f/2.0 aperture and 6P lens. It shoots 4K videos at 30 fps. It has a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1.4 µm pixel size and 76.5-degree wide-angle lens for selfies and video calling. It has Dual SIM (nano) support, comes with a unibody metal design which is 7.5 mm thick and weighs 153 grams. Instead of having the traditional 3.5 mm audio jack, it comes with a new Continual Digital Lossless Audio (CDLA) audio standard for lossless audio via USB Type-C port. We also have Dolby Atmos on board for an enhanced audio experience. It has a mirror-surfaced fingerprint scanner at the back and also comes with an Infrared sensor.


The LeEco Le 2Pro comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and USB Type C as connectivity options. The phablet packs in a 3,000 mAh battery under the hood that supports fast charging.

The LeEco Le 2Pro has been priced at CNY 1399 (US $216 / INR Rs 14,320 approximately) for the Helio X20 chipset whereas the Helio X25 chipset variant costs CNY 1499 (US $232 / INR Rs 15,344 approximately). It can now be pre-ordered in China and will go on sale starting from April 26, 2016. The company has also launched the LeEco Le 2 and LeEco Le Max2 in China today.
