LeEco India is now a reality. LeEco (formerly Letv) has officially set up shop in India yesterday. The company has partnered with Flipkart to sell their smartphones and have launched couple of devices, as expected, to start off their India journey. LeEco Le 1s Specifications
The LeEco Le 1s sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) in-cell display with 500 nits brightness. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795T) 64-bit processor with PowerVR G6200 GPU. It comes with 3 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 32 GB of internal memory (eMMC 5.0) which is not expandable via microSD card slot. It runs on EUI 5.5 based on Android Lollipop OS.
On the camera front, the Le 1s has a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, ISOCELL sensor, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) and f/2.0 aperture. It shoots 4K videos at 30 fps and 720p videos (slo-mo) at 120 fps. It has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with 85-degree wide-angle lens and Samsung S5K5E2 sensor for selfies and video calling. It has dual SIM (nano + micro) support, 3.5 mm audio jack, has Dolby audio and supports Dirac HD audio technology. It is 7.5 mm thick and weighs 169 grams. It has a mirror-surfaced fingerprint scanner at the back that comes with 6H hardness. You can also click pictures using the fingerprint sensor. It also has an Infrared sensor.
The LeEco Le 1s comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.0 with APT-X, GPS, MHL 2.0 and USB 2.0 Type C as connectivity options. The phablet packs in a 3,000 mAh battery under the hood. According to the company, if you charge it using a 24W charger for 5 minutes, then you can make voice calls for 3.5 hours.
The LeEco Le 1s is available in Gold color and has been priced at Rs 10,999 in India. It will be sold exclusively on Flipkart starting from February 2 via flash sales. For the pilot flash sale, Axis bank customers will be eligible for 10% cash back and consumers registering within Midnight of January 21 will also get Rs 500 gift voucher from Flipkart after purchase.
Also, LeEco has prepared well on the customer support part which is very crucial for a company in India. The company has tied up with third-party service centers and hence they have 555 service centers at convenient and prime locations across the country.
LeEco India has also set up a 24×7 Cell Center with voice call, live chat and social media support in 10 different Indian languages.
Lastly, in case you need to get your LeEco devices serviced, there is a free home pickup and drop-off service in place.
