Letv has recently been rebranded to LeEco but the company has sold around 3 million units of Le 1s since its launch in November, 2015. This statistics was revealed on Weibo by Feng Xing, Senior Vice President of LeEco.
LeEco has so far sold around 4 million smartphones out of which majority of the devices turned out to be Le 1s. Also, selling 4 million devices in less than one year of their debut is very impressive. The company is also entering the Indian market formally on January 20. It will be reportedly launching the Le Max and Le 1s. Lets recap the specifications of the best-selling device once again.
Letv Le 1s Specifications
The LeTV Le 1s sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) in-cell display with 500 nits brightness. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795T) 64-bit processor with PowerVR G6200 GPU. It comes with 3 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 32 GB of internal memory (eMMC 5.0) which is not expandable via microSD card slot. It runs on EUI 5.5 OS based on Android Lollipop.
On the camera front, the Le 1s has a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, ISOCELL sensor, PDAF and f/2.0 aperture. It shoots 4K videos at 30 fps and 720p videos (slo-mo) at 120 fps. It has 5 megapixel front-facing camera with 85-degree wide-angle lens and Samsung S5K5E2 sensor for selfies and video calling. It has dual SIM (nano + micro) support, 3.5 mm audio jack, has Dolby audio and supports Dirac HD audio technology. It is 7.5 mm thick and weighs 169 grams. It has a fingerprint scanner at the back below the rear camera.
The Letv Le 1s comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.0 quirk APT-X, GPS, MHL 2.0 and USB 2.0 Type C as connectivity options. The phablet packs in a 3,000 mAh battery under the hood. According to the company, if you charge it using a 24W charger for 5 minutes, then you can make voice calls for 3.5 hours.
