LeEco and Coolpad launches Cool1 with Snapdragon 652 SoC, dual 13MP cameras

Cool1 has been officially launched in China. It has been made jointly by LeEco and Coolpad. It is the first phablet in the Cool series. Lets check out the specifications and features of the device below.

Cool1 Specifications

The Cool1 features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS in-cell display, that has 450 nits of brightness and 72% NTSC color gamut. It is powered by a octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 (Quad 1.8 GHz ARM Cortex A72 + Quad 1.2 GHz A53) 64-bit processor along with Adreno 510 GPU. It has 3 / 4 GB of RAM and comes with 32 / 64 GB of internal memory (eMMC 5.1), which cannot be expanded via microSD card. The device runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box with EUI 5.6 UI on top.

The phablet comes with a 13 megapixel dual rear primary cameras with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), 4K video and 720p slo-mo video at 120fps. On the front, there is a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture, 80-degree wide-angle lens for selfies and video calling. It supports Dual SIM (nano) with Dual Standby mode and comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack. The device packs in a fingerprint sensor at the back, that can unlock the phone in just 0.15 seconds. It has a unibody metal design that is 8.2 mm thick and weighs 167 grams.

The Cool1 includes 4G with VoLTE support, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The phablet packs in a 4,060 mAh battery under the hood with fast charging support.

The Cool1 is available in Gold, Rose Gold and Silver color variants. It has been priced at CNY 1099 (US $166 / INR Rs 11,083 approximately) for the 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM variant, CNY 1499 (US $226 / INR Rs 15,122 approximately) for 4GB RAM + 32GB ROM model and CNY 1699 (US $256 / INR Rs 17,140 approximately) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM variant. It can be ordered via the official Coolpad website, LeMall and now and will go on sale starting from August 24, 2016 in China.
