Earlier last week, we have seen exclusive rendered images of the upcoming Apple iPhone 7 from “a reputable source in the case-making business.” Today, Nowhereelse.fr has leaked some images of an iPhone 7 case itself. The design is very similar to the rendered images we have seen before.
This prototype iPhone 7 case image reveals that the device could include four speakers. If we look at these images carefully, then we can see two speakers at the bottom and two at the top. Also according to the leaked case, there is a larger camera module followed by a LED flash at the bottom. The flash is usually on the right side and in the rendered images also, it was on the usual right side as well. Hence, we have to take this with a pinch of salt.
Now coming to the bottom, there is no 3.5 mm audio jack, which is in sync with the previous reports as well as the rendered images. Apple will go for a Smart Connector and might include Bluetooth wireless headphones out of the box (unlikely).
Features of Apple iPhone 7
These iPhone 7 renders are actually based on real 3D technical drawings of the device. However, the colors and materials used are not official but inspired from the iPhone 6s. Also, it is to be noted that the buttons, camera placement and all functional parts are in their correct positions since the renders are based on the technical drawings of the device. If we go by the Apple scheme of things, then the actual material (7000-series aluminium and specialized Corning Glass) will also be very similar to the previous generation iPhone.
If you look at the back of the iPhone 7, the most important visual change is that of the new antenna lines. Apple has decided to change the cutouts for the antennas. However, it still exists, in spite of customers hating them since in order to get cellular reception, you need them (no other way). Coming to the rear camera, it will have that bump (annoying though).
Also, the iPhone 7 might be waterproof and sport a touch home button (rumoured to be on iPhone 7 Plus as well), but it is not confirmed yet. Apple is expected to unveil the new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus (or Pro) in September 2016.
