Lava XTRON MEGA tablet gets listed, launching soon

Lava XTRON MEGA gets listed on the company’s official website ahead of launch. It is the first XTRON tablet with a 10-inch display from Lava. The company recently launched Iris X8 and Iris 465 smartphones in India.

Lava XTRON MEGA Specifications

The Lava XTRON MEGA features a 10.1-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) Multi-touch IPS display which is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Action ATM7029B processor. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 4.2 JellyBean OS and hopefully Lava will upgrade it to Android 5.0 Lollipop in the near future.

The Lava XTRON MEGA comes with a 2 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash. On the front, it has a 0.3 megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The tablet supports Dual SIM with dual standby mode.

The Lava XTRON MEGA includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, HDMI and micro USB as connectivity options. The tablet packs in a 6,000 mAh battery under the hood. It will be available in black colour. There is no information on the pricing but it looks to be a low-budget tablet. As the tablet is already listed on the official website, we are expecting it to be officially launched soon.
