Lava X80 has been officially launched in India. It is the latest tablet in the ‘X series’ that is powered by Intel Atom Baytrail chipset. Lets check out the specifications and pricing of the device below.
Lava X80 Specifications
The Lava X80 features a 8.0-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS OGS display, that is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Intel Atom Baytrail processor (Turbo boost up to 1.83 GHz). It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory, which can also be further expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS out of the box.
The X80 comes with a 5 megapixel rear primary camera and a 3.2 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The tablet supports voice calling via headset or speaker, comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and dual speakers. It is 9 mm thick and weighs 320 grams.
The X80 includes 3G (with voice calling), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The tablet packs in a 4,200 mAh battery under the hood.
The Lava X80 tablet is available in White and Black color variants. It has been priced at Rs 9,999 in India. Recently, the company has launched the Lava X81 smartphone with 3GB RAM for Rs 11,499 in the country.
