Lava X28 with Marshmallow OS, VoLTE support, HD display launched in India for Rs 7349

Lava International has launched the latest budget phablet in their X series in India today. It is known as the Lava X28 that also supports 4G VoLTE out of the box. Lets go through its features, specifications and pricing below.


Lava X28 Specifications

The Lava X28 features a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, that has a pixel density of 267 PPI. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor. It has 1 GB of DDR3 RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory, which can also be further expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box. It supports 12 Indian languages and Transliterate Feature, that will help the users to easily translate the English language in their respective native languages.

The X28 comes with a 8 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash, that can record Full HD 1080p videos. On the front, there is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash for selfies and video calling. The smartphone supports Dual SIM with dual standby mode, comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio. It is 8.95 mm thick and weighs 175 grams.

The Lava X28 includes 4G with VoLTE support, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The phablet packs in a 2,600 mAh battery under the hood.

The Lava X28 is available in Silver, Coffee and Gold color variants. It has been priced at Rs 7,349 in India. The company had previously launched the Lava X38 with similar specifications but with bigger battery and smaller display for Rs 7,399 back in August.
