Lava V5 phablet launched in India for Rs 11499

Lava V5 has been officially launched in India. It is the latest 4G smartphone from the brand. Lets go through the specifications of the device.


Lava V5 Specifications

The Lava V5 features a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS Full laminated display that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor along with Mali-T720 GPU. It has 3 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out of the box and will be upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The V5 comes with a 13 megapixel rear primary camera with dual LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) and Samsung 3M2 ISOCELL Sensor. On the front, there is a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and 84-degree wide-angle lens for selfies and video calling. The phablet supports Dual SIM with dual standby, comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio.

The V5 includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The phablet packs in a 3,000 mAh battery under the hood.

The Lava V5 is available in White color and has been priced at Rs 11,499 in India. It will be sold via both online and offline retail markets across the country.
