Lava Pixel V2 has been officially announced in India today. It is the latest smartphone in the Pixel series after the introduction of Pixel V1, that was launched as an Android One device. Check out the specifications of Pixel V2 here.
Lava Pixel V2 Specifications
The Lava Pixel V2 features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display which is protected by ASAHI Dragontrail Glass. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 GPU. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box with Star OS on top of it.
The Pixel V2 comes with a 13 megapixel rear primary camera with dual LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 5P Largan lens, Blue Glass filter. On the front, there is a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture, 4P Largan lens, 84-degree wide-angle lens and LED flash for selfies and video calling. The smartphone supports Dual SIM and also comes with 3.5 mm audio jack, FM Radio.
The Pixel V2 includes 4G LTE (Band 3 and 40 supported), 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,500 mAh battery under the hood.
The Lava Pixel V2 is available in Royal Sparkle black and Icy White color variants and has been priced at Rs 10,750. It goes on sale starting from September 15, 2015 via online retailers. The smartphone will also be available in Prism Blue colour in the near future.
