Lava Iris X1 Selfie smartphone launched in India for Rs 6777

Lava Iris X1 Selfie has been launched in India. It is a smartphone which is focused on taking great selfies, as the name suggests. Lets take a look at the specifications.


Lava Iris X1 Selfie Specifications

The Lava Iris X1 Selfie features a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA IPS display which is protected by Asahi Dragontrail glass. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.

The Iris X1 Selfie comes with a 8 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 1.4 micron pixel size. On the front, there is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash for selfies and video calling. It has Gesture Control which lets you capture images from Selfie camera with “V” sign, voice control photo capture by saying “Capture” or “Cheese”. Both the cameras has smile detection feature as well. It comes with “Beauty-fi” software which has eye-enlargement, eye lashes colour, teeth whitening, skin smoothening, skin whiting and much more.

The smartphone supports Dual SIM with Dual Standby mode and also comes with 3.5 mm audio jack, FM Radio. It is 8.5 mm thick and weighs 140 grams. The Iris X1 Selfie includes 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,000 mAh battery under the hood.

The Lava Iris X1 Selfie is available in Icy White, Purple and Royal Black colour variants and has been priced at Rs 6,777. Lava launched the Pixel V1 Android One couple of days back in India.
