Lava Iris X1 Atom launched in India for Rs 4444

Lava Iris X1 Atom has been launched in India. It is the latest smartphone in the Iris X1 series. Lets have a look at the specifications of the budget device.


Lava Iris X1 Atom Specifications

The Lava Iris X1 Atom features a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) display which is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor. It has 512 MB of RAM and comes with 4 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and hopefully Lava will upgrade it to Android 5.0 Lollipop in the near future.

The Lava Iris X1 Atom comes with a 5 megapixel PureCel rear primary camera with LED flash. On the front, it has a 0.3 megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone supports Dual SIM and also comes with 3.5 mm audio jack, FM Radio. It has Smart Swipe, a 4 way gesture/shortcut, Smart View which will let the user use two fingers to rotate the images in gallery, Double Tap to wake up and more.

The Lava Iris X1 Atom includes 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 1,750 mAh battery under the hood. The Iris X1 Atom is available in silver, black silver and black gold colour variants and has been priced at Rs 4,444. It will be sold across retail stores, multi-brand outlets in India and also on e-commerce platforms from next week.

Lava Iris Icon was recently launched in India for Rs 11,990.
