Lava Iris Atom 2, a budget 3G smartphone has been officially launched in India. It is the latest device in the Iris lineup. Lets check out the specifications now.
Lava Iris Atom 2 Specifications
The Lava Iris Atom 2 features a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA TFT display which is powered by a 1.3 GHz processor. It has 512 MB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and is upgradeable to Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, according to the company.
The Iris Atom 2 comes with a 5 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash and Largan lens. On the front, there is a 0.3 megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone supports Dual SIM and also comes with 3.5 mm audio jack, FM Radio. It is 9.15 mm thick and weighs 130 grams.
The Iris Atom 2 includes 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 1,750 mAh battery under the hood.
The Lava Iris Atom 2 is available in black and white colour variants and has been priced at Rs 4,949. It will be sold via retail stores, multi-brand outlets and online portals in India. Lava Iris X5 4G was the last smartphone to be launched in the Iris series.
