Lava Iris 465 smartphone launched in India for Rs 4499

Lava Iris 465 is the latest smartphone in India from Lava International. The device supports 21 Indian languages which is a plus point. The company launched the Iris X8 couple of days ago in India. Let us look at the specifications of the smartphone.


Lava Iris 465 Specifications

The Lava Iris 465 features a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) display which is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor. It has 512 MB of RAM and comes with 4 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and hopefully Lava will upgrade it to Android 5.0 Lollipop in the near future.

The Lava Iris 465 comes with a 3.2 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash. On the front, it has a 0.3 megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone supports Dual SIM with dual standby mode and also comes with 3.5 mm audio jack, FM Radio.


The Lava Iris 465 includes 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 1,750 mAh battery under the hood. The main USP of the device is that it supports 21 Indian languages. It includes Hindi, Bodo, Sanskrit, Nepali, Marathi, Dogri, Konkani, Kashmiri, Sindhi, Bengali, Assamese, Maithili, Manipuri, Gujarati, Punjabi, Santali, Oriya, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.

The Lava Iris 465 is available in Black colour and has been priced at Rs 4,499. The smartphone will be sold across India starting today and on e-commerce online portals from next week.
