Lava International Limited has officially appointed Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni as its new brand ambassador at an event yesterday. The company has already set up its first manufacturing plant in Noida, after pledging its support for Government of India’s “Make in India” initiative and plans to invest Rs. 2,615 crores in a phased manner. They want to scale up the operational capacity to achieve an annual production capacity of 216 million phones.

Lava has recently launched Pixel V2 3GB variant with Android Marshmallow in India for Rs 10,750.
