Apple Inc (AAPL) has scheduled a media invite for Tuesday, September 9 to unveil the iPhone 6. It is believed the iPhone 6 will come in two screen sizes i.e. 4.7 inch variant & 5.5 inch variant which will be more like a iPhablet or iPhone Air. It will also come with the more powerful A8 processor which is still rumoured to be a dual core variant but with increase in clock speed to 2 GHz. The iPhone 6 is said to feature a 2100 mAh battery according to the latest rumours.
On the camera front, the 4.7 inch iPhone 6 variant is said to include a 10 megapixel shooter with a better image sensor whereas the bigger 5.5 inch variant might have an even better camera packing more megapixels with an Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS). The details on this are still not clear at this point of time and are mere rumours at the moment.
The bigger 5.5 inch iPhone 6 is also rumoured to cost $100 more than the usual iPhone and might launch just in time for the holiday quarter in December. Apple has reportedly asked its supply chain to manufacture around 80 million iPhones to be able to cope with the 2014 demands as they are expecting the biggest iPhone launch yet.
With iOS 8 opening up more than ever and coupled with bigger display, the iPhone 6 is expected to shatter all records and also convert many Android users into iOS users. One month to go for the iPhone madness to start. Stay tuned to us for more details.
