iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus to launch in India at midnight on October 17

iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus was unveiled by Apple at a special event on September 9. It went on pre-order in seven countries and four million iPhones were pre-ordered creating a history. Previously, we reported that the new iPhones will go on sale on October 17 in India and recently even the pre-orders have started with the price being announced. Recently, 20 million iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus has been reported to be pre-ordered in China which will also go on sale on the same day as India. In India, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus would be available in offline retail stores starting at midnight on October 17.

The iPhones which were pre-ordered from offline as well as online retailers, will start getting delivered from today midnight as well. Apple has partnered with Ingram Micro, Redington, Rashi Peripherals and Reliance this time for the iPhone 6 release.

The 16GB iPhone 6 model will cost you INR 53,500 (about $870), while the 64GB variant and the 128GB option is priced at INR 62,500 (about $1,015) and INR 71,500 (about $1,160) respectively.

On the other hand, the iPhone 6 Plus comes to you with a price tag of INR 62,500 (about $1,047) for the basic 16GB variant. If you are looking for more storage space, then you will have to shell out INR 71,500 (about $1,160) and INR 80,500 (about $1,307) for 64GB and 128GB options respectively.

Today, Apple will also host a special event where the company will launch the new iPads, iMac and Mac Mini along with the much awaited OS X Yosemite.
