Apple is preparing to launch both the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in India on October 19, which were launched on September 9 in USA and went live for pre-order on September 12. Apple is expecting to ship 80 million iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus units by end of 2014 and create history.
On the verge of launching the new iPhones in India next month, Apple has slashed the prices of the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5C. The iPhone 5s 16 GB was launched at Rs 53,500 last year and now it has been slashed to Rs 44,500, whereas the 32 GB variant was available for Rs 62,500 which has been slashed to Rs 49,500 now. The 64 GB variant is discontinued globally, so it didn’t get any price cut but some old stocks are still available on Flipkart and Amazon. The iPhone 5c has also got a price cut on the 8 GB variant which takes it to Rs 31,500 now.
These are official price cuts but both the iPhone 5s and 5c are already available on e-commerce shopping portals for a much lower price. iPhone 5s 16 GB Gold variant is hovering around Rs 35,000 – 37,000 on Flipkart and Amazon which will be a great buy. It is expected to sell around 35k mark after the launch of iPhone 6 in India. The iPhone 5c 16 GB (limited stocks) is available on Flipkart and Amazon between Rs 30,000 to Rs 35,000 which is a much better option than the 8 GB version.
Apple might introduce buyback schemes to compete with these online sellers but if you are looking for an iPhone 5s or 5c, we would suggest you to get it from Amazon or Flipkart. We are listing all the best iPhone deals below.
