iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 3 and older iPad India prices revealed

 

Apple today unveiled the two new iPads, the iPad Air 2 and the iPad Mini 3 at the special event today. Now, we know about its final pricing in India. The Cupertino company has also released OS X Yosemite update which is now available for download at free of cost.

The iPad Air 2 is the most thinnest and most powerful iPad, Apple has ever made. The second generation iPad Air is now the world’s slimmest at just 6.1 mm thin and weighs less than a pound. It features a 9.7-inch LED (2048 x 1536) display with an updated A8X processor which has 40% faster CPU performance and 2.5x faster graphics over the previous generation. It gets the TouchID home button along with a Gold variant.

Whereas, the iPad Mini 3 has the same old specifications of the Retina iPad Mini or now called the iPad Mini 2. It only gains TouchID home button as well as a Gold variant.

Let us look at both the new iPads pricing in India along with the old models which got a price cut.

The iPad Air 2 WiFi only variant’s price starts at Rs 35,990 for the 16 GB, Rs 42,990 for the 64 GB and Rs 49,990 for the 128 GB variant.
Whereas the iPad Air 2 WiFi + Cellular variant starts at Rs 45,990 for the 16 GB, Rs 52,990 for the 64 GB and Rs 59,990 for the 128 GB variant.

The iPad Mini 3 WiFi only variant’s price starts at Rs 28,900 for the 16 GB, Rs 35,990 for the 64 GB and Rs 42,990 for the 128 GB variant.
Whereas the iPad Mini 3 WiFi + Cellular variant starts at Rs 38,990 for the 16 GB, Rs 45,990 for the 64 GB and Rs 52,990 for the 128 GB variant.

The older iPads which will still be available are the iPad Air, iPad mini 2 or popularly known as the Retina iPad mini and the original iPad mini. The original iPad Air will now start at Rs 28,990 for the 16 GB WiFi variant, the iPad mini 2 starts at Rs 21,990 for the 16 GB WiFi variant and the original iPad mini will start at Rs 17,990 for the 16 GB WiFi variant.
