Intex Cloud String HD with fingerprint sensor, VoLTE support launched for Rs 5599

Intex Cloud String HD has been launched in India today. It is the latest budget smartphone in the ‘Cloud’ series that comes with a fingerprint sensor, which also supports VoLTE. Lets go through the specifications of the device.

Intex Cloud String HD Specifications

The Intex Cloud String HD features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD on-cell 2.5D curved glass display that is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832A processor along with 512 MHz Mali-400 GPU. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory, which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box. It supports Matrabhasha service that will enable communication in 21 regional languages, HotKnot feature that will let the users share images, media and more and also has Opera Max app for data saving.

The Cloud String HD comes with a 8 megapixel rear primary camera with dual LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, 1.4 µm pixel size and Samsung S5K3H5 sensor. On the front, there is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone supports Dual SIM with Dual Standby mode, comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio. It is 8.7 mm thick and weighs 150 grams. It has a fingerprint sensor (version 2.1) at the back and has now become the second Intex smartphone to sport one, after Aqua Secure that launched couple of days back.

The Cloud String HD includes 4G LTE with VoLTE support, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,200 mAh Li-Polymer battery (removable) under the hood. It promises up to 7 hours of talk time and up to 190 hours of standby time on 2G.

The Intex Cloud String HD is available in Black and White color variants for Rs 5,999 exclusively on Flipkart in India.
